I think the pants are nicer than in the pictures. ? I ordered the pants in L/XL chocolate brown. The trousers are also a beautiful chocolate brown, the cobweb-like pattern in dark beige or light ochre is printed on the top, the fabric is plain on the inside. The embroidery is neatly done, the excess embroidery stabilizer has been removed quite neatly from the inside. After the pants were dry after the first wash, there was a lot of fluff from the embroidery backing on the inside, but I think this was only after the first wash. The pants are made of 100% cotton, jersey, good medium-thick T-shirt quality, according to the label made under fair conditions in Nepal. The fabric is stretchy in length, the width hardly gives. (Shouldn`t that be the other way around?!) Hand washing is recommended. I have washed them in the sink, they only show minimal color. Measurements of the pants, measured lying down: Waistband 42cm, approx. stretchy up to 55 cm There is a tie ribbon in the waistband that is not too long, approx. 1.20 m in total, including the diamond-shaped cuffs. The ends are practical as they prevent the ribbon from disappearing into the waistband. Waistband height 14cm. Total crotch height with waistband: front 44 cm, back 45 cm Length outside complete with waistband 1.10 m Inside measured from the crotch 73 cm long Width thigh to crotch height 34 cm, the pants become narrower towards the bottom. Still approx. 28 cm wide at the bottom. There is an elastic band at the bottom - unstretched 13cm (total 26cm). It is sewn around once, you could take it out. Some people have complained about holes here. When altering the pants, I saw the reason for this. The fabric was sewn with the wrong needle, creating small holes when sewing. If the seam is then stretched, the holes get bigger. You need special jersey needles for stretchy fabric. If you buy the trousers, you should sew all the seams just tighter with a narrow zigzag stitch (2-3) or other flexible stitch and the appropriate needle, otherwise the holes will get bigger. As I sew professionally, I`m relaxed about this, although you could expect a hole-free seam at this price. I am 1.73 m tall, size 42, more of a size 44 at the waist and the trousers fit comfortably at the waist. I give the point deduction more for the fit, as I had to change something there. If I pull the waistband up to hip height, the crotch hangs very low and stretches when I make lunging movements such as dancing, yoga, sitting cross-legged... the trousers are not wide enough on the legs for this, and they are also far too long for me and the fabric billows out at the elastic at the bottom, which is reminiscent of clown trousers. If I pull the trousers up, the waistband sits 2 finger widths above the belly button, the crotch and freedom of movement are very good, the length is then great and the trouser legs look better. As I like to wear the trousers at hip height, I shortened the waistband. - And sewed all the seams 1/2 cm tighter as recommended above. With the jersey needle, there were no more holes in the seam. Despite everything, I only give 1 star deduction because I otherwise really like the pants.
